Chapter 3

Rise And Fall

Despite those happy and joyful days of appreciating English language,I felt it was just a begin.

According to the school regulation,we had to choose to study either science or liberty art at our second year of senior high school.

To be honest,I was weak at Physics and Math.I preferred English and Chinese.Besides, there was another important reason.Since I developed a keen interest in foreign language,I had already set a goal for myself--to be admitted a prestigious language university. In China, the most famous one is BFSU which locates in the capital city Beijing.Maybe some of you know it.Its name deeply imprinted deep inside my heart.

Sometimes,I write the name in my arm to stimulate myself to stive for it.BFSU is the faith of my life.To my knowledge,it mainly accept students of liberty art. So,I chose to learn it without any hesitation.

Ever since my entering the liberty art class,I felt a sense of relief.I hated those science subjects. The textbooks of ours were different from those science students.Ours were much more easier.Although I had to continue learning those subjects I disliked, the enjoyment of being a liberty art student soon drowned the slight unhappy feelings.

I soon adjusted my life and study there. We learned Chinese,Math,English,Politics,History and Geography.I don't think they were difficult for me,at least easier than science. So I would learn quickly and have more time to learn English.

Here,I have to mention my English teacher. As I switched to art class, the teacher changed. It wasn't the previous one I once wrote--a cute young female teacher. Our new teacher was an elderly man.

He was very weird,I should say,as he had a stange temper.Strict as he was, sometimes also mild.He also spoke good Japanese.I think he even looked like a Japanese.Oh! My goodness!
He was so different from my former lovely teacher.I wonder if I would feel comfortable in his class. The first time I saw him,I was very worried about that.

Later,it proved my worry...
